Stephen J Drozda, DPM

Doctor

Dr. Stephen Drozda is a Pittsburgh native who grew up in the North Hills area. He received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Pennsylvania State University and then graduated summa cum laude from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. He went on to complete 3 years of residency training in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery with the added credential of Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery at the world-renowned University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Drozda combines cutting-edge training with a patient-first approach, offering personalized care rooted in compassion, precision, and a deep understanding of the latest podiatric advancements. He is proud to bring world-class expertise back to his hometown, where he is dedicated to improving the foot and ankle health of patients across the greater Pittsburgh area.

In his free time, Dr. Drozda enjoys spending time with his wife and their two dogs, Angus and Winston. He is an avid hiker and is working on obtaining a Private Pilot License.

James F Brungo, DPM

Doctor

Dr. James Brungo has been proudly serving the greater Pittsburgh community for over four decades. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1982 and went on to complete his residency at the Podiatry Hospital of Pittsburgh in 1983. His commitment to excellence in surgical care led to his induction as a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons in 1993—a distinction that recognizes his advanced training, skill, and dedication to the field.

Dr. Brungo is widely respected throughout the community for his compassionate, patient-centered approach and unwavering commitment to high-quality care. Generations of patients have trusted him for his clinical expertise and thoughtful bedside manner.

Outside the office, Dr. Brungo enjoys golfing, reading historical nonfiction, and spending quality time with his wife and their ten beloved grandchildren.

Glenda Yingling

Administrative Assistant

Glenda Yingling has been a valued member of the practice for over 11 years, proudly serving alongside Dr. Brungo as part of the front office team. With a warm and welcoming presence, Glenda manages a wide range of responsibilities including insurance claims, surgery scheduling, patient coordination, and handling phone communications—ensuring that daily operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Glenda lives in Zelienople with her husband, Dwight. She is a proud mother of two daughters and a devoted grandmother to four grandchildren. Outside the office, Glenda embraces her Scottish heritage by playing the bagpipes with the Celtic Circle Pipe Band. The band performs at Highland Games throughout the summer and is especially active during Saint Patrick’s Day celebrations.

Her dedication, attention to detail, and vibrant personality make her an indispensable part of the team and a familiar, friendly face for patients.

Mary Drozda, BSN, RN

Clinic Manager

Mary Drozda, BSN, RN, is a proud Cleveland native with a strong background in nursing and healthcare leadership. She earned her Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Cuyahoga Community College and went on to complete her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at The Ohio State University. Mary brings diverse healthcare experience, including Long Term Acute Care, Home Health, and the Burn Intensive Care Unit. She has also served as a public health nurse and program manager in Cleveland, gaining valuable insight into community health initiatives. As the office manager, Mary oversees daily operations and leads the staff with a focus on delivering compassionate, high-quality care to every patient.

In her free time, Mary enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs, Angus and Winston. She also enjoys reading fiction books and travelling.

Nicole Drozda, CCMA

Medical Assistant

Nicole Drozda, CCMA is a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant through the National Healthcareer Association. She is a proud graduate of Bidwell Training Center, where she completed her medical assistant training and was inducted into the Alpha Beta Kappa National Honor Society in recognition of her academic excellence. Following her training, she completed a hands-on clinical internship with Dr. Brungo, further honing her skills in patient care.

Nicole also brings specialized expertise in clinical research. She completed the Clinical Research Assistant Training (START) program at the University of Pittsburgh’s Clinical and Translational Science Institute, and earned certification through the CIRTification Program at the University of Illinois at Chicago, focusing on the ethical conduct of community-engaged research. With a unique blend of clinical and research training, Nicole is deeply committed to delivering a welcoming, efficient, and professional patient experience.

Nicole is also a talented artist, and in her spare time, she enjoys painting landscapes with oil and watercolor paint and makes woodburn art, including coasters and furniture pieces.
